• Island & Gazebo: One of our most unique features, the community island offers a peaceful escape for residents. Accessible and inviting, it features a covered gazebo, comfortable benches, and a dedicated dock. With on-site grills and stunning water views, it is the perfect destination for a quiet sunset or a weekend cookout.
• Lakeside Recreation: Enjoy the tranquil beauty of our lakes. Residents have exclusive access to both lakes for catch-and-release fishing and non-motorized boating—perfect for quiet mornings in a kayak, canoe, or paddle boat.
• The Woodland Canopy: Discover the unique "Quiet Character" of our neighborhood. It is a premier setting for a shaded morning run or a peaceful evening stroll along miles of sidewalks that wind through the canopy of old-growth Florida oaks.
• The Multi-Use Commons: Located in a dedicated area of the community, our illuminated play field is the perfect spot for a neighborhood baseball game, frisbee, or open-field recreation all in a safe, private setting.
• Central Recreation Hub: Located in the heart of the community, this versatile destination features our tennis, pickle ball and basketball courts alongside a playground. The surrounding open lawn provides a perfect "backyard" space for kids to run and play freely within sight of the amenities.

Social Traditions & Recreation
These committees focus on bringing neighbors together and creating lasting memories.

• Recreation & Events: Help plan our signature traditions, including Family Movie Nights on the Island, the annual 5K Walk/Run, and seasonal hayrides, to name only a few.
• Social "Munch & Mingle": Join our adult social hours designed for relaxed conversation and building neighborhood connections.
• The Ladies’ Coffee: A monthly tradition for the women of the community to gather, chat, and enjoy snacks together.
• Welcoming Committee: Be the first to greet our newest neighbors and help them transition into life at Lake In The Woods.​

Community Governance & Stewardship
These committees work alongside the Board to protect our infrastructure and property values.

• Beautification: For those who love to garden, help us maintain the seasonal splendor and landscaping of our common areas.
• Finance & Budgeting: Lend your professional expertise to help the Board establish annual budgets and ensure long-term fiscal responsibility.
• Architectural Control (ACC): Play a key role in preserving the aesthetic integrity and architectural distinction of our neighborhood.
• Election & Nomination: Help organize our democratic process by planning the Annual Meeting and Board elections.
